Shearer
The Jeweler opened for business in Easton in 1926. Abraham Shearer,
a watchmaker by trade, opened his business as a full sevice retail
jewelry store. In addition to a selection of fine jewelry, Shearer
offered watches and clocks, giftware and repair service.
In 1950, Morton Shearer took over
the business for his father. The business expanded as Easton
and Talbot County grew in population. Morton and his wife Eunice,
continued a fine tradition as the demand for fine jewelery and
gifts grew as well. |
